Canal Inn, Welland Ontario
When I arrived at the Canal Inn in Welland on July 22, 2016, the front desk was not attended. Their "back in 5 minutes" sign was inaccurate. It was over 15 minutes until someone returned allowing me to check in. Then they were unable to provide a room key for me. Their card encoder was not working. I could lock my room, but would need the front desk to get back in. (This happened to me on a prior visit too.)
When I got to the room, the floor had not been vacuumed. When I connected to their free WiFi, it did not actually provide access to the internet, so it was useless to me.
