Welcome to the Balsa Beavers Model Flying Club where you can learn about control line model aircraft and how to fly them.
If you would like to learn how to fly without having to invest any time building an airplane, we are here to help you.
On good-weather Sunday mornings May to September, we are usually at the
Centennial Park circles.
Several members have special models for training new pilots, and they would be happy to teach you how to fly them.
To be sure an instructor will have a training model there when you arrive, it is best if you arrange a session with us.

We have members from all walks of life, young and old, coming together to enjoy this great hobby/sport.
We meet October through April on the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month at 7:30 PM upstairs at the
Centennial Park Arena
for informative sessions on control-line model airplanes. There are often free Timbits® involved!

Going flying this week?. Take one minute to enter your flight plan. With instant visibility on the Balsa Beavers homepage, others have a chance to join you.
If you want email notification of flight plan changes, just subscribe in your profile settings. This way you will be up-to-date even if you cannot get to the website.

Access is not available to the anonymous public. We generally expect you to have a genuine interest in control-line model flying.
